Here’s a little of my story: I was born & raised in Indiana (born in Ft. Wanye, I’ve lived in Marion, Anderson, and now Bloomington). I was always drawn to helping people and took a specific interest in mental health when my own counselor in high school mentioned that I could be good at it. Having experienced how counseling can help with issues like anxiety & depression, it made sense that I wanted to extend this help to others. I pursued this dream first by getting a degree in psychology from Anderson University, and later my master’s degree in mental health counseling from Indiana University.
At this point in my career, I feel drawn to working with adolescents & adults on anxiety, depression, communication, self esteem, life transitions, and trauma. I love working with people to not only improve symptoms, but to foster greater self awareness, self acceptance, and overall sense of well being. My goal is to provide a space where you can explore yourself, your emotions, your past, and your current patterns in life.
